Bu ilk günümüzde sizlerle olmaktan gurur duyuyorum. Önce Allahın izniyle ve sizlerin mücadelesiyle üç hilali Sarıyer Belediyesi’ne dikeceğiz. Dil, din, ırk ayrımı yapmadan beraberce güzel işler yapacağız. Güzel kadrolarla başarıya koşacağız. 25 yıldır süregelen Sarıyer’in talihsiz kaderi son bulacak. Sarıyer’de değişen hiçbir şey yok. Halbuki İstanbul’un kalbi olan Sarıyer bir incidir. Bu emaneti alınca herkese söz veriyorum her şey değişecek. Hizmet anlamında babamızı tanımayız. Ayrım gayrım bizim işimiz değil. Şahısların menfaati için değil Sarıyerlilerin hizmeti için aday olduk.
